24th September 2008:Sunplastics win the contract to rebuild the inner ring of the roof of the Weser soccer stadium (Bremen, Germany). In the first phase of building, Sunplastics will supply and install approx. 450 SUNOVATION® Modules, capable of generating a total of 122kWp. These modules were selected on account of their light weight and aesthetic appeal. Each module measures approximately 1m x 3.5m, although the dimensions of individual modules may vary depending on where they are installed.
Sunplastics is a manufacturer of individual plastic solar modules of the SUNOVATION® brand. Our PV modules consist of PV cells swimming in a special gel and encapsulated between sheets of high-grade plastic. A specially patented connecting technology prevents the cell connectors from breaking inside the pliable modules. The outer surface is shock-resistant and capable of withstanding UV radiation.
